Handmade Cookies

This is my handmade "holiday" gift for my friends. Lindsey and I got together this past Wednesday afternoon and made several batches of cookie dough. I baked them off today to bring fresh cookies to friends. Lindsey baked hers yesterday to bring on her trip to Pine Mountain, Georgia to visit Robert's family.

We made Chocolate Chip Cookies, Jam Thumbprints, Russian Tea Cakes and Soft Ginger Cookies. The very nice and sturdy pasteboard box was less than a dollar at Wal-Mart and held just enough cookies without going overboard.

Happy Hanukkah! and a Joyous Christmas to you all, whichever you celebrate!

  1. (((Laurie))) Sending you hugs today from KY.

Your cookies look wonderful! You are a blessing to many! They remind me of the cookies my mom used to send me for Christmas. Hugs, Robin

  2. Ooohhh, those look yummy and pretty!

Hand made cookies are time and labor intensive-- truly a gift from the heart. I can hardly wait to make some cookies now!

    Warm wishes to you Laurie!

  3. Happy Holidays to you!Your cookies look gorgeous!

  4. Those look lovely!

Thank you for your lovely comments and sweet note of congratulations on our instant family. We really are utterly and completely amazed at how wonderful the children are and how quickly they have settled into our home.

Wishing you a very happy new year!

  5. May the new year bring you all the love and good will baked into those tempting cookies. I shall be thinking of you, Ma'am.

  6. These look like works of art. You really have a "gift" for it!
